He served as an officer in the Queen’s Royal Hussars (The Queen’s Own and Royal Irish) (QRH), a cavalry regiment of the British Army.
Before leaving the Armed Forces in 2014, he served in combat operations both in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It was around the time he left the Armed Forces and decided to pursue a career in acting that he shortened his name to “Alex Brock”.
In August 2014, he made his TV show debut as Young British Officer in an episode titled War Machine of the television historical drama mini-series Our World War.
He collaborated with former military colleagues in 2015 to create Bare Arms, a company providing military support to the film and television industry.
He appeared as CTSFO Officer in an episode of the police procedural political thriller drama television series Bodyguard in 2018.
In 2020, Alex Brock brought to life the character of Parker in the espionage thriller political drama television series Homeland.
He played Evans’ Man in the neo-noir crime thriller television series Baghdad Central in 2020. The show stars Waleed Zuaiter, Bertie Carvel, Clara Khoury, Leem Lubany, and Corey Stoll.
Alex Brock appeared as Anthony in an episode of the police procedural crime drama television series FBI: International in 2021. The show is the 2nd spin-off of the drama FBI and the 3rd series in the FBI franchise. It stars Luke Kleintank, Heida Reed, Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto, Christiane Paul, and Eva-Jane Willis.
In June 2022, Alex Brock was seen playing the role of John Lancaster in the science fiction horror drama television series The Midwich Cuckoos.
