Canelo Alvarez gets named the World Boxing Council Best Fighter of 2023

Canelo Álvarez will end 2023 with huge earnings, and once again, considered as the Best Boxer of the year, according to the official estimation that has been announced at the 61st World Boxing Convention (WBC).

Mauricio Sulaimán, president of the organization, announced the decision, before what is expected to be a showdown against the interim super middleweight champion, David Benavidez.

During the fighter's successful career, Saúl Álvarez will be able to boast that in 2023 he will receive, for the fifth time, this recognition and he will do it as an undisputed super middleweight champion.
