According to some new reports, Valentina Sampaio, a transgender model, has been hired to be part of a Victoria’s Secret campaign. If that is the case, it means she is the very first trans model to represent the lingerie company.

It sounds like the famous company is really trying to rebrand lately and for a brand that is so focused on presenting a certain image, that would mean more inclusivity.

Not too long ago, the 22 year old Brazilian beauty took to social media to share a pic that featured her in a bathrobe backstage at a photoshoot for Victoria’s Secret’s PINK line.

It definitely sounds like the model has managed to make her dream become a reality and she could not be any happier!

At this time, Victoria’s Secret is yet to address Valentina’s posts however.

They do come amid the company’s attempt to rebrand due to declining sales following some controversial statements made by their chief marketing officer Ed Razek on including transgender and plus size models in their Fashion Show.
